Under general direction of the CPQ Sales Manager, the HVAC Project Estimator I will execute a planned business strategy for First Co. and the AE-Air product line,and facilitate active usage of company technical sales support tools to all assigned territories and assigned accounts. Primarily responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare quotes of products (fan coils, air handlers, heat pump, and accessories) and all other equipment for projects.
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or Associate of Arts Degree (A.A.S) required
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related to HVAC preferred
-Strong experience/knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, materials, etc.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software,
-Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
-Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to interact on both a technical and non-technical level
-Demonstrated knowledge of account management and CRM systems managing sales processes and funnels.
-Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time constraints and strict deadlines.
-Delivers planned business results through developing a high performing account network with expertise in both company product sales and application. Will have responsibility for knowledge growth of company technical tools within assigned constituencies,
-Supports accounts in sales, application, and design of company products and sales tools to achieve market share growth,
-Reading and understanding of Mechanical blueprints and specifications for takeoffs; as well as perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools.
-Preparing job proposals
-Strong experience/knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, materials, etc.
-Knowledgeable of all aspects of mechanical systems with ability to select proper system components as established by project engineer
-Ensures best practices such as lead generation, quote activity, and project sales. Regularly facilitates recurring goal meetings and quality management meetings. Provides regular reports to the CPQ Sales Manager on accounts goal status,
-Facilitates and assists in accurate order development, to meet customers project delivery expectations,
-Regularly supports accounts & peers to secure AE-Air/First Co. products as “project basis of design” within market engineering communities,
-Liaison for new products and services to increase AE-Air/First Co. product value and generating long-term cadence with priority customers,
-Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time constraints and strict deadlines.
-Through proper use of software systems in place, is responsible for timely, accurate, quotes per customer request.
-Strong working knowledge of PC environment and MS Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.
-Must be customer oriented and motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills.
